He dragged along his lame leg, its bandages made fresh this morning. He had learned how to bandage his own wound, and shown it off this morning to the medicine cat. It was easier than he had thought, though he had watched the medicine cats do it a thousand times now. It only made him realize further the despair of his situation/ He was never going to get better, was he? In the distance, beyond the marshes of Shadow Clan were the woods he had come from. He had passed the fallen log that had caught his leg on the way here, and had taken a moment to pay his respects to Shadowclan and everything else. Everyone else. He hadn't told anyone other than his brother that he was leaving, and despite him begging his brother to come with him.. his brother had decided to stay.
